Biography Ke Chen received his BSc degree in Geophysics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2011. After graduation, he came to the University of Alberta and joined the Signal Analysis and Imaging Group (SAIG) working under the supervision of Prof. Mauricio Sacchi. He completed his MSc degree in September 2013 with the thesis "Robust matrix rank reduction methods for seismic data processing". From September 2013, he started his PhD program with Prof. Mauricio Sacchi. His PhD research is mainly focused on seismic migration and full waveform inversion.
Research Interests Seismic data denosing and reconstruction, seismic imaging and inversion.
